Essence of Christmas

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. Christmas is the day where all have fun and all is happy because it is the time of the year where we give gifts receive gifts but the most exciting of all is that in Christmas everyone in the family enjoy one big feast and have fun until the day runs out. But what is really the essence of Christmas?

In Christmas we all think that everyone is having fun but we have to remember that all of us are not in the same position. Some families doesn't experience that so called Christmas gifts and other events that happen in Christmas. In Christmas we all must remember that it is not always just receiving gifts where we experience joy it is the part where we give gifts to those who are in need and that is the true essence of Christmas it is the time of the year where we all give gifts to those who are in need and at experience a warm feeling in our hearts when we give them gifts.

The true essence of Christmas is giving gifts, giving love and giving fellow people the best time of their year because Christmas is the time of the year where all have fun and joy in our own little way. This is the true essence of Christmas and that is giving.

Equality is the Key!

All of us are meant to be equal because God created us and because of that all of us has equal rights but in the years that have passed some people have been treated poorly and because of this many incidents have been going on in the world like terrorism. In this world that we live in there are those that are given opportunities but some are not given and sometimes this is because of the discrimination in our world.

We, human beings, have formed a society based on certain rules that govern our actions and behavior. We share mutual materials and while building up our lives we commit decisions everyday that lead us to differing paths. Some of us are more successful than others due to various reasons. Many people question whether the success someone has experienced is due to hard work and entitlement or simple luck. Success itself is a vague concept and has its own connotations for everyone. It may mean love, power, resources or anything else but in this world we live in we have to treat each other equally because all of us are special.

Despite having different lives with different success in life we all must learn to give respect and to treat people equally because all of us have rights and all of us need opportunities to ensure a better future for all of us in the days to come.

Kahirapan ay Wakasan, Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban

Once again, the Municipality of Pilar celebrated Children’s Month on October 2013 with the theme “Kahirapan ay Wakasan, Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban”. In line with the celebration our school also celebrates this month. Our school wants
to help all those who are in need especially children that are associated with 4p's.

All children have their rights, including teenagers like me. But for some reason, many of our rights are abused. Examples are crime syndicates that take advantage of the poverty in our country. Crimes and violations of our laws slow down our economy and that is why many people are poor. For that reason, we are implementing campaigns to help end poverty like the Pilar Pride Campaign. The campaign can inspire people to follow the rules and regulations of our Marine Protected Areas like DEMSAMAR and PMMP, and help conserve our marine resources. We all know that we cannot end poverty easily, but at least we can lessen it and that is why we should not underestimate what campaigns can do. Instead, we the children should be proud of it. Now that we have the Pilar Pride Campaign, we should volunteer and be a part of it. We should tell our classmates about it and our family members as well. In this way, we help insure food security in our municipality; promote our right to survival and good nutrition; and that will lead the way to ending our problem of poverty.

So we must always remember that we are all equal with equal rights no matter the gender we are all creations of GOD and GOD created us to be equal and have a peaceful life.

Reflection

For the past 2 months I have learned a lot. Before second grading i had co clue about the internet access and html tags but after those 2 months i have learned many things, at first it was difficult for me but with the help of my classmates and my teacher i have been able to know what are the html tags and what they are used for. In second grading there were a lot of things to be done but in the end of the day we all managed to finish all and do it all. This second sure was difficult but with the help of my classmates I managed. I hoping this 3rd Grading i will be able to learn a lot more and do more things that i haven't done in my whole life, i hope this 3rd Grading will further enhance my information about ICT.

Unity of Countries

All around the world there is corruption, racism, and inequality. There are so many reasons why someone hates a another person but we must not be blinded by society but we must know that all of us are brothers and sisters and we only seek one thing and that is peace. In our world we must not judge another person by its race, and we must not think highly of yourself because all of us are equal. One must always remember that everyone is our friend, family, brother, sister.

This year's UN month celebration goes with the theme"Coming Together with Those furthest Behind to Build an Inclusive World of Universal Respect for Human Rights and Dignity" and this theme really has a lot to employ to us, this theme wants to focus on world peace for all. It wants fellow countries to be equal and respect each other, no hate, violence, and other things that must not be done on a person. This world really needs peace because it wont be long when this world will not be able to defend itself on the things that we are doing. This UN month celebration has one goal and that is unity, unity of fellow countries for the greater good not just to us but to everything that has a life and this celebration will someday open the hearts and minds of all the people.

Unity may not be an easy task but if we all want this we can do it. Someday this world we live in will change, change in a way that everything will be better. I hope people will open their eyes and see the wrong things that they are doing, I hope humanity can achieve peace, peace for everyone and everything for the sake of humanity.

Resiliency!

One of the leading cause of death is disasters in the entire world and the Philippines endures a lot of them. Disasters causes great damage and loss of many lives and is a great threat to human kind. This disasters often happen in some area's in the world and their are so many causes of this disaster.

Philippines is currently located near the pacific ocean and it is also located on the pacific ring of fire and this are one of the few reasons why Philippines is a disaster prone country. Every year the Philippines experiences a lot of casualties or events like earthquakes, tsunami's, volcanic eruptions, and storms or typhoons so it is a disaster prone area but despite it's location the Philippines thrives and is always ready for an upcoming disasters . The Philippines may be a small country but the people are always fighting and always never give up even if they are hit by so many disasters they always get up and start a new life so we can say that the Philippines is a resilience country that thrives to be the best.

In life we can never avoid disasters because it is what our mother natures throws at us for being irresponsible so this days we must be responsible and always do a good deed in order for us to have a better life and always remember to be ready because disaster come when you least except it.

2018 SONA: Change is Coming

The SONA or State of the Nations Address is an annual address by the President of the Philippines to a joint session of the congress of the Philippines. The speech is always delivered every fourth Monday of July and it aims to notify the people about the condition of the nation. July 23,2018 President Rodrigo Duterte attended his 3rd State of the Nations Address and talked about the issues the Philippines is undergoing this year.

In Duterte's 3rd State of the Nations Address The Presidents banner gets first mentioned and the President said 'It will be relentless and chilling as the day it began' to me our President want's to tell us that the anti-drug war will continue like the day it started he wants to tell us that he whatever happens the campaign will continue and finish what it started. The President may be going to far but for me he is only trying to fix the country and return it's former glory and our President only want's stop illegal activities done in his home, he doesn't want to destroy it he wants to protect it because he want's the Philippines to be a safe and wonderful country for his citizens to live in. I think after many years Philippines will become a country it never once was because of the current President because all the things he had been doing was for the sake of all of us and I truly believe he will change this country to a country he wants or a country for the next generations to live in a safe and wonderful country.

No matter the things the President is doing he has his reasons. One day all of us will thank him for all the things he have done in order to make the Philippines a peaceful and safe country. May this inspire you to support our current President's plans in making the Philippines a safe country.

Farming is the New Healthy

Nutrition month is the month that we do activities that is good for our health like eating veggies and fruits in order to maintain a strong and healthy body. This year the nutrition month theme is 'Ugaliing Magtanim Sapat na Nutrition Aanihin' and for me this theme encourages us to farm and eat farm foods.

Nutrition month was created by the campaign  that  focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits and this years theme aims to contribute to improved food and nutrition security by increasing access to a diversified source of food for families and communities alike, as well as improved incomes through sales from home-grown produce because Filipinos isn't improving their healthy food consumption so this month they want to encourage them to be self-sufficient as possible with backyard gardening. It also wants to employ to us Filipinos that we need to learn how to farm because farming is an important thing to know when your in the Philippines because you can easily run a business in farming and make your life.

I humbly inspire everyone people to plant vegetables and fruits to have a healthy and wonderful lifestyle because it will someday help you without you even knowing it. May this encourage every reader in planting.

Philippines Freedom

The Philippines is a peaceful and independent country but the Philippines wasn't always like this. Very few know that the Philippines has a very dark past. The Philippines was once invaded by three countries. The first country to invade the Philippines was the Spain and they were the longest to colonize the Philippines because they had the Philippines for exactly 333 years and next came the Japan then America.
Many Filipinos died and suffered on the war between the three countries but on the year 1898 the Philippines finally broke free from the hands of the Americans. The Filipinos fought hard for their freedom and so they achieved it. On June 12 the Philippines celebrated their first Independence day and will always celebrate that day to honor the Filipinos that fought hard for the freedom of the Philippines.
Up until now the Filipinos still celebrate that day because it is the day they achieved the freedom they have been wanting for many many years. This explains that we must never give up even if push comes to shove there will always be hope we just have to believe.
