Philippines Freedom
The Philippines is a peaceful and independent country but the Philippines wasn't always like this. Very few know that the Philippines has a very dark past. The Philippines was once invaded by three countries. The first country to invade the Philippines was the Spain and they were the longest to colonize the Philippines because they had the Philippines for exactly 333 years and next came the Japan then America.
Many Filipinos died and suffered on the war between the three countries but on the year 1898 the Philippines finally broke free from the hands of the Americans. The Filipinos fought hard for their freedom and so they achieved it. On June 12 the Philippines celebrated their first Independence day and will always celebrate that day to honor the Filipinos that fought hard for the freedom of the Philippines.
Up until now the Filipinos still celebrate that day because it is the day they achieved the freedom they have been wanting for many many years. This explains that we must never give up even if push comes to shove there will always be hope we just have to believe.
